Streaming Device
What is a streaming device?
A streaming device is also known as a media streaming device, it allows you to stream entertainment content such as movie, tv show, music or photos to you t
v, usually via a HDMI port on the back or side of your tv.
In the picture above 1) Amazon FireTVstick the most famous other the three, 2)Roku the second famous and 3) the new kid on the block Onn UHD streaming device.
I have personally used all three, what I look for when choosing a streaming device.
1) I must able to download apps that I want on it.
2) It must have a good wifi connectivity.
3)It must be portable (can go in my pocket).
I used the Roku for a day and didnt love the experience I couldn't download no third party apps that would allow me to stream the lastest movie that r in the theater so it never make sense for me.
The Amazon firetvstick on the other hand was a wow I could side load almost any apps and watch anything I wanted to stream for free, it also have a good wifi connectivity what I don't like it have a bit of log to it when moving from apps to apps or trying to navigate your way around, I think the reason for that is because there is always some movie or tv show displaying in the background.
This new kid on the block which is a Walmart product on UHD streaming device it's the cheapest of the three it have an Amazon firetvstick display look with out the movie playing in the background, it's running Android 10. I can add apps on it that I can't get to add on the firetvstick so far this device is a stealer for me it's a good cheap budget streaming device, I can see this device in the future giving the firetvstick a run for them money.
